The book uses an airport conveyor belt and seven red bags as a metaphor to explain why customers buy and what you can do to seal the deal. Just like waiting for all your bags at the airport, customers wait for all their needs to be met before making a purchase. Don’t miss a bag or risk losing the sale! Amazingly Easy Internet Marketing Tips That Will Change Your Outlook

The number of customers available to you on the internet may be higher than in your local area, but so are the number of competitors. There are thousands of companies competing with you for their share of the internet market, and if you have not started using internet marketing techniques, you’ll be left behind. Here are some surefire internet marketing tips to put you ahead of the competition.

Talk to marketing companies. If may seem counter-intuitive since you are their competition, but some marketing companies are willing to bounce new ideas off other marketers, to see what new ideas are out there. If you are willing to share with them, they may be willing to share with you.

If you do plan to use online videos to market your website, one often forgotten idea, is to include a transcript with the video. YouTube videos have the option of including closed captions and these are scanned by the major search engines. Add keywords and phrases to your video transcript and you’ll drive more traffic to your site.

Add an email newsletter to your Internet marketing strategy. Keep in touch with your customers regularly by sending them a periodic newsletter with updates and interesting information. This helps you maintain a relationship with the customers you have worked so hard to cultivate. It also provides them a way to contact you to offer valuable feedback.

Let your customers know how to get in contact with you. Place your contact information on every page, even if it is just at the bottom. Doing this, not only increases customer confidence, but it also allows a search engine to bring up your website if anyone searches for part of your contact information.

Beating the competition is possible if you use these tips to market your business on the internet. And don’t stop there: learn as much as you can about marketing online because there will always be new competitors that will try to take your customers. Stay on top of internet marketing techniques so that doesn’t happen.
